Picked up my Daughters 15th Birthday present today ;) and got to look at a lot of new shiney things in the shop as well :( got myself something new as well lol :)
My daughter mugging me for a new pushchair made me smile.
As soon as I get a text starting with 'Daddy dear' I know it's wallet time.
She always carefully explains what she needs without actually asking for the article . It makes me smile and feel all warm inside coz I love taking her uptown to buy her stuff.
When she needs some thing , she's Daddy's little girl all over again and not a twenty eight year old married woman .
Oh my goodness, where do I begin.
Since Tuesday, I have been on annual leave, and have covered some miles this week.
What I just realised and what has made me smile is that on Tuesday I was in the company of so many Bm'ers to say goodbye to Iain, and then today to see so many of you at Bala Lake. I can't tell you what the site looked like as we walked up to the car park....it was over whelming. Once again proving that without BM, neither occassions would have been so well attended.
Seeing my mum on mothers day, who is 90 this year and she is doing really well. I also saw my two big sisters and their partners. Managed to combine this with a ride out to Deal, where they were all at my sisters caravan. I really need to keep in touch more
To see my ticket confirmation for Kate Bush (yes I know, but I like her) to find out that I had thought I had booked tickets for saturday 16th Aug, to find I have two tickets for Tuesday 16th September! So now I have a spare ticket! Sometimes i think I have gne completely mad!
Fog this morning :-( This afternoon - good run to Squires and back, warm sunshine, dry twisties, minimal traffic }:) Now home made tandoori chicken in the oven, green salad chopped and tossed, bottle of tim taylor's landlord open and glass in hand. :-))
