getting to 5.15pm and knowing that as usual my weekend starts here and knowing my rosie strumpet is coming out to play for the first time this year wooohooo
Just got back from a ride in Essex and where there was a flooded road on my route which was about 50 foot long and thinking it will be ok taking the bike though that, which it was, with the water coming just over my feet. then another puddle and another, then the last one where I couldn't see the end, fields both sides flooded and now I was thinking ST.
But in for a penny, off I went, the water come over my boots and was just shy of my knees and was also coming off the front wheel and over the screen and hitting my helmet.
Two hours later, i'm fed, warm and dry and still smiling.
Just you wait till it gets crafty like our cat and hides under the bed at bedtimes, even refusing to be coaxed out with a big piece of ham, and this at half past midnight, when your tired, done a 12 hour shift, etc etc.
