Managing to make it there and back for a hospital check up in record time, getting out of having an injection into my shoulder because I have a meeting to attend later today. Downside got to go all the way back again at a later date.

Getting my old 500 through its MOT first time AND selling it for more than I thought I'd get at the same time. Now I can start replenishing the savings for another hol . The sun might shine on me next time I go to Spain!!! God awful weather last week but the roads are fantastic!!!
hey mark i'm of nxt week via Plymouth Santander eventually endin up in france!then back via Santander!any tips?did yu take a tent?aint taken a bike abroad b4 always gone in a car wiv family.
Plymouth - Santander is a nice trip Tango, done it a couple of times.
Never take your bike abroad before? Not a problem, just relax and enjoy - it is totally ace and I know you will have fun.
The mountain roads immediately south of Santander are superb by the way.
cheer's geaof dunno weather to take a little tent it dont take up a lot o room as i'm on a cruiser got plenty of room for bedroll an light sleepin bag!understand theres cheap 'hostal's'in the villages an towns!probably do a bit o both!

Hi tangoman, fraid I did it the lazy way! booked a flight stayed in a villa and hired the bike lol! If you want to do some twisties go up and down a mountain or three, it's amazing how your cornering technique improves! Just don't go too fast on the blind ones, gets scarey when your on the other side of the road and summat coming atya!

real shock last night standing at squiers phone rang
was a mate of mine that i've not seen for 5 years, he is going to come see me next week was great to her from him
Had a horrible start to my day woke up at about 4.20am with the most violent pains in my head,(thought I was having another brain bleed) going downstairs I caught my foot on the bare gripper rod on my stairs and badly cut my heel, so wasn't sure whether to get pain killers first or stem the bleeding from my foot. Well back into bed all sorted, woke up again at 7.30am birds singing, sun shining, headache gone.
Got lots of jobs done and then got out on my bike for a really lovely ride to Stratford on Avon, Fish and chips on the lock and ride back home and didn't I go the scenic route thanks to my mate Bob from bike club.
Had a bit of a scarey moment on entering and exiting an island but I know what I did wrong so hopefully won't do it again.
Now just sitting by my pond with a glass of wine and my laptop, watching the fish feed.
