Coming into work to see 8 workmens vans taking up the top reserved car park, all the guys were standing round in a cirlce, having a brew and a fag, looked like White Man Van convention lol
I realise tele-marking isn't fun but I get calls at work all the time from companies trying to get foreign currency exchange business from us and I took another today. After I explained that he wouldn't be getting even a chance to compare quotes he thanked me for taking the time to talk to him and explain things and not just hang up the phone - sweet! Now, as it's Wednesday, I get to go to jive class. When I get home, I think I'll treat myself to a mid-week Merlot - the day just keeps getting better and better! Oh! - and the boss is away tomorrow too!
Feels like all I have done is shout and vent years of stuff at people and cry and cry and cry for the last couple of days.. I don't think it's always the death of a person that effects you the most.. its the can of worms it opens up...
BUT today.. I smiled and I laughed.. I actually did the whole girly giggle thing.. Thank You Emzed.. hearing your voice reminded me that there are brighter days ahead.. always will be
But my biggest smile is still smiling because I just heard Minx laugh out loud for the first time since Wednesday.. she has a real "Rock Star" in the living room giving her her first guitar lesson.. and I can distinctly hear "smoke on the water"
