Being made aware of a 10 month old puppy being hacked to death for fun in Australia and the 2 men responsible trying to get off on the grounds of insanity (mental illness) - makes me sick to the core... Since this case there have been copycat (no pun intended) mutilations of two cats too... What the is wrong with these people???

Thanks for that Ghosty - will get on it and search Facebook for it. I am not a crusader but I find it hard to turn my back on these things once shown... And nice one, Arf... pro-active is the way to go on these s before they hide behind the law and find a solicitor to defend them!

Thinking about an ex colleague who's little baby girl was killed a year ago today by a drunk lorry driver in India, his wife and baby had gone back to India to look after a poorly family member while he stayed here working awaiting their return.

Ghosty, Arf - did a little bit of digging on that story of the live dogs being used as bait - seems it was a pretty isolated case back in 2005 and it appears to have bean dealt with *fingers crossed*

Hopefully my last post about this before I hijack the thread but this TRULY made me sad (along with feelings of repulsion and absolute anger). On Yahoo news today there is the story of a 38 year old disabled woman who was slashed with a knife on Sunday after going out to defend her Yorkshire Terrier who the gang had just stabbed to death in the garden. I guess if you looked you could post something like this every day but I won't.... Sometimes ignorance IS bliss.
