My local Aldi (Bidston Moss in Wirral) has just cut great lumps off the prices of the biking gear it was selling back in the spring, eg men's fabric jackets reduced from £89.99 to £19.99, Kevlar lined jeans with armour from £39.99 to £9.99.
I don't know if it's a national thing or purely a local promotion, but worth checking out. There was quite a bit left earlier today.
