Hey i need to shorten the bars on my triumph daytona, they are the Renthal ones that whoever put on didn't cut down, so i need to cut them down!!!!! Is it just a simple saw them off and slide everything further up????????? Ermmmm blonde lol

I suppose it'll depend on how much your thinking of shortening them? If they are straight theb it'll be ok. But if there cranked in any way then you,
'll need to check how much you can move the controls in before they won't fit on the bars correctly. hope that helps :-)

Slide the grips + controls in to where you want them .

Mark the outside of the grips with the hacksaw drawn backwards a couple of times. (protect the grip ends with cardboard)

Remove the throttle assembley + the left grip

Put plenty of insulation tape around the bar (stops the saw skipping).

Double check double check your grip against the mark and , with slow smooth strokes , cut your bar . ...Dusty...
