I've just read this weeks copy of my local Selby Times (Selby is near Squires cafe) and on the letters pages is this letter - written exactly as follows. I just thought you'd like to read it:
On November 19, more than 250 bikers dressed themselves and their bikes, trikes and trailers up and braved the freezing fog to deliver toys to Ripon Salvation Army and CVS. Santa's sleigh was followed from Squires cafe in Newthorpe all the way to Ripon, and what a sight that was! The event was organised by Chris Eden and supported by Squires, the Yorkshire Bike Forum and BIKERfm.co.uk. Thanks to Morrisons, Wilkinsons, The Card Factory, Tesco and Homebase in Selby for their kind donations of gifts. Along with other contributors, we filled a box van full of toys for children who would otherwise have a poor Christmas. Every present represents a child's smile, and there was a van load of those! Many thanks again to the above, and to all the bikers who turned up in their festive best and showed the world why they have the biggest hearts.
I salute you! See you next year. Naomi Fountain of Bubwith.
