Suzuki Reduce Prices of Parts

Suzuki has slashed prices on many genuine parts in an effort to stop people automatically buying aftermarket parts for models from 1995 to 2011 with reductions of up to 43%.Suzuki calls the process ‘realigning’ and includes many consumable and servicing parts like brake discs, pads, clutch, brake and gear levers along with chains and sprockets too. Price reductions are as high as 43% in some cases.Suzuki GB's Michael Le-Flay said: “Realignment of pricing on genuine consumable parts can only be good news for our customers. With over 450 individual part lines included in the initiative, owners of models ranging from 1995 to 2011 can now take advantage of these new competitive prices, using components designed specifically for their bike, rather than aftermarket options. For example, a set of front brake pads for a Bandit 650 have reduced from £49.93 to just £33.54, making genuine parts a real option for many customers.”For more information on Suzuki genuine parts and the current 'Bike of the Month' promotion too, please visit www.suzuki.co.uk/my-suzuki <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Well, thats good news to hear for a change !! About time manufacturers realised that - - "Realignment of pricing on genuine consumable parts can only be good news for our customers". That, in turn, will be beneficial to the manufacturer by generating parts sales, therefore, income. !! Now then, come on the rest of you .. .. How long before t'others play catch up ??? This is something I have noticed happening in the automotive (As opposed to motorcycle) market, .. .. more manufacturers now have a much more competitive price with the motor factors than they did over the last few years . .. .. sometimes the manufacturers price is lower than factor.

Suzuki don't manufacture the components
They buy in!
normally from places like china.with thier own stamp on it. and put own name on it,
So if they are having a sale you can bet your bottom dollar, its old stock!!!!
and now out dated.

So if they are having a sale you can bet your bottom dollar, its old stock!!!!and now out dated. OOO!! BB Thats a bit cynical - - owners of models ranging from 1995 to 2011 Dont really think that the 2011 parts would be outdated, even if the 'older' parts were old stock they will, at least, still be O.E. quality..
