Yea, I think I know the PM you mean BP. This person has been "informed". If its asking for you to email "her" then dont bother. As for paypal... log in using the incorrect email address and password (PM me if you need the email address, i can see who has subscribed). When logged in to paypal.com, you will be able to remove the credit/debit card and unsubscribe from this site (I can unsubscribe u if u cant find how to do it). Main thing is... Log on using wrong email address Remove the card details Create new account with the card details. OR - just log in using the wrong email address, then add the correct email address as an aditional login, then remove the old/wrong address. PM me if you need help

Matt found this site by accident also member of motorcycle junction, when you join the junction, you can post a profile for free and then to receive or send messages you must join,a lot of folk dont join and you pm them only to find its awaste of time,Some junction members paid a tenner for life membership, makes it dearer for everybody else. Just a suggestion but for the social side of things could we not organise ourselves regionally,a few volunteers, give out leaflets etc at bike nights, pubs maybe a few social events ride outs etc. certain areas seem to have loads more members on the junction, because they began to meet up outside of the site, and there friends joined. A lot of people dont post on the forum, costs more, they are charging forty quid for 100 days gold membership, truthfully this site is less of a clique and friendlier, keep up the good work mate, make the rock chic the moderator, lol ,take care Sean

she doesnt need to be moderator, shed only spend all day moderating her own bloody posts! haha, takes me all night to get through them. The leaflet thing is an ace idea, but its hard to find volunteers as ive found in the past. When ive handed out leaflets in the past too, you find most on the floor and its sooo infuriating. :-( Regarding charges... im not charging on this site to use the forums, run searches, receive PMs/Winks or access events when theyre going, etc. You just need to subscribe to SEND messages to people. Its the only way that it can work otherwise people will never subscribe. Im hoping to turn the site into an event management site as well as a dating one, but might need to rename it. Its too "dating" orientated at the moment, and I dont want it to be. Want it to be for arranging parties, ride outs, etc. Will get more members then too, but need to figure out how im gonna do it

I certainly wont. I deliberately tried hard to make sure Bike Chat didnt go bitchy like other similar sites. Its what people comment most on. Bike Chat got the title of "most friendly motorcycle website" on the net. BP - its you folks that will make this site what it is, and by the looks of it it is going to be bloody good!

Well so far so good - not! Nobody is signing up at £3.95 /month! NOBODY! What should I do folks? What does it take to drain a few pence from people to use a service like this? Should I go back to 99p? More people signed up then. Is £3.95 not reasonable???

Matt @ 01/09/2006 12:24

Ok, ive now lowered the "OFFER PRICE" to £1.95 instead of £3.95. Surely the site is worth £1.95 to you all??? Sorry but I cannot do it any less as its just insulting - Ive spent 3 unpaid years designing the site. Lets see some people signing up now. Or does it have to be 99p??? Should I make some more features require a subscription to use? Should the whole site require a subscription???

Ah ha! What do we all think to 99p per week! Does that sounds less damaging than £3.95 per month? Which would you rather see in print? Would 99p per week make people more interested?

Matt @ 01/09/2006 12:58

ok its changed now, to weekly. Might look more appealing to members. Problem with this is that it will cost me 4 times as much in paypal fees

New suggestion, put forward by a friend. However I wanna know what you all think. He thinks that I should give people a week's trial when they register, then after a week the whole website should be chargable. What do we think? Would this not just make people create millions of accounts?
