What does that mean? Babelfish doesn't have Brummie as an option.

I would have thought A38 and then A6. A38 is a bit boring, but any other route would be a bit of a detour.

Edit: I just looked at a map, A515 through Ashbourne is about the same distance, but much slower roads.

As you go down the A6 about 1/4mile from the A38 there's a shell garage. I'll wait there for you guys, if you set off 11am I guess it'll be 11.30ish

on a nice sunday there are literally 100's of bikes parked along the main street. You just find a place and park up, there is a carpark opposite the Fishpond pub. All motorcycle parking is free. The local council was trying to introduce a parking charge but all the local buisness kicked off so the plan was dropped. Quite how you pay to park on a motorbike is a bit of a no go anyway as you just say 'someone nicked my ticket' Charles' is a few doors up from the Bikersgearbox bike shop. Charles sells top food as a licenced bar and outside seating, bikersgearbox has many killer deals. Matlock Bath is a spa town and really feels like the seaside, it's really just the one street like a prom. I've been going for the best part of 30 years, it really is a major biker venue
