Do you want to stay in the middle of the Peak District or are you happy with the edge of the Peak District. Are you looking for a single or a double room?

If you are looking for a single room/s and are open minded about where you stay and really want some peace and quiet after a days riding then I can recommend http://www.taracentre.org.uk/ I have used it on a few occasions and you are just south of the Peak District, about 30-45 mins from Matlock Bath.

Otherwise, have you considered the YHA, they now do single and double rooms.

Will find the links now then if I nod again at least you know I'm on to it. Mega bucks but on doorstep of Chatsworth - £130 http://www.devonshirebeeley.co.uk/luxury-hotel-accommod...dation.cfm Reasonable and out of the way - £60 http://www.bentleybrookinn.co.uk/index.html Matlock Bath, bikers paradise - £85 http://www.matlockbathhotel.co.uk/Brook_New_Bath_Hotel_...ation.html Some other towns to look at are Castleton, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Buxton. My favorite is Castleton, probably best for the sort of weekend you're planning, so try 5 miles away but beautiful - £170 http://www.losehillhouse.co.uk/hotel/home.php Hope they are some use. If you wan any advise give me a shout! Bitmore affordable - £65 http://www.bullsheadcastleton.co.uk/index.html
