Its official now, the
British WSB round has been moved to Silverstone on the same dates as it
should have been at Donny. i think its the last nail in Donny's
coffin. RIP Donnington Park, I watched my first live bike race there in
1978. It was a regular day out for the whole family. Gutted ain't the
word :-(
It is a shame, but Donington have been ripping off customers for years. They always claimed to understand the problems, and would be putting things right. They never did.
Maybe now they'll get their act together and come back as a truly International circuit, worthy of the name. I certainly hope so.
