I was there yesterday for the Day of Champions, was good, but not as good as usual. Damn this new track they are building, and Dorna's cost cutting. It wasnt as good as previous years.

This year is was held behind the pits. Not as far to walk from the parking, Crash did 3 excellent sets, the usual trials stunt team and question of bikes thing which iw all good, but there were very few stands. No official team/motogp merchandising was accessible, only the usual stalls selling BSB stuff and leathers, paintings and Riders raffle tickets. The coach trips around the circuit didn't run as there was some sort of Thunderbike race going on, but you couldn't watch it without paying extra. Because there is no Friday morning practice the bikes were still being built as there wasnt the same rush as before, so it was difficult to get close up pics of the bikes, and they didn't need to start them so you didnt hear them running. Still a good day, and i got some excellent pics, do the usuall http thingy followed by photobucket/RiganDOC09 if you want to see what you missed

A question my son asked me to find out what was the result? He's at sea at the moment and as I don't follow the sport I aint got a clue.
