Anyone going to the Matlock Bath meet next week beware of the Cat and Fiddle route, I counted 4 number plate recognition vans one plain white on a fast stretch on opposite side of road, 4 police bikes, 2 vans and 4 police cars.........its 50 MPH all the way now and they mean business...be careful!

And anyone coming from Derby avoid the A6 by taking the B5023 at Duffield and go via Wirksworth. Luvly little backroad

Not sure which route you will be useing but it is the road between Macclesfield to Buxton it used to be a very fast road but has claimed far too many lives often refered to as the most dangerous road inthe UK. hope to see you next week.........
