mmmmm been there done that with husband of 27 years so can only say, easier said than done, and even then its not that easy to say!!! Guess, everyones circumstances, feelings, relationships are unique to them and they have to ultimately do alot of soul searching to make that decision. Even then, life is never the same again, not easy and when you lose that person you have become even closer to - heartbreaking!!!! You just have to do what is right for you both, your family and be able to live with that decision, deal with the day to day stuff and the aftermath and above all, when its over, remember only the very happy special times and move on with positivity. Life is for living, and this is not a dress rehearsal, enjoy, laugh, love and be happy ....none of us know for how long after all do we?!!! However bad it gets, things are always changing and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.......................Im enjoying it now, life is good and Im sure your friend will find that out one day too - whatever his decision hun
