Have been to the field accompanied by juliej and XKLYBR , have done the tent-peg test and tent-pegs are go , tried about 20 different spots and never hit a single stone .
I have spoken to Graham and he has said give him a date and an estimate of numbers and he will sort out all the legal requirements - alcohol license , entertainment license , ect . He would probably sort out the catering side too . He was running a bar and doing a hog roast for a Metal Detectors Rally when we went to see him .
All that's required now is someone who knows what they are doing ( I've no idea ) to discuss plans with Graham.

Third weekend in August is good for me , as is last weekend in September , I work alternate weekends and cannot swap weekends in July August and September (farming commitments) .
I have other rallies planned for April May June and July .
Obviously a date would need to suit the majority , I am fairly local so even if I am working I could still drop in on an evening for a few hours .
Like I said before I know nothing about organising rallies .
