http://petitions.pm.gov.uk This is a petition on the E-petition section of the Downing Street website, please sign, the more who sign the more chance of it happening. It was reported the other day that BP and shell were making £3 million per hour profit...so why should the prices be so high? Make sure you FOLLOW THE LINK...as this group means nothing!! Its just made to allow you to follow the link to the REAL official petition, so please do...You must be a UK resident to sign! You WILL be asked for an email adress, this is so you can confirm your entry thats all, You WILL be asked to provide an address, this is to prove you are a UK resident.Dont worry it is all OFFICIAL and you details will not be passed on! Every vote counts! If you remember a few months ago there was a Downing Street petition on the road taxing idea, that recieved over 100,000 signatures and as such the government re-thought its plans...so do sign. The Deadline is June 17 2008. I have already signed, I hope some of you will.

Did your name show in the list? my name isn't there, it wasn't earlier and it's not now. I know it's the most recent 500 that are shown but like I said, it didn't show just after I added my signature and it's not there now. So how do I know it's actually on there?

I signed it (and mailed the link to all my contacts!) and yes I saw my name on the list of latest 500 to sign it! Thanks Kwak for reposting the link cos I couldn't get to it on the original posting! Fingers, toes and eyes all crossed that it helps because even Sainsburys are up with all the 115.9 garages where we live now

Signed (we could do more as a country if we all got our heads togeather on this) we could all take our holidays the same 14 days and just not go anywhere no using public transport nor taxis nor our own bikes/cars/buses lol the whole country grinds to a halt, trouble is we'd not all aggree on which 14 days to take and then all the erm visitors to our shores would still bugger it up for the pats :o( (my name showed)
