Does anyone else prefer analog over digital? I've borrowed an MT10 for a few days whilst my 93 RF600R is waiting on a new rad and honestly, I hate it. All the electronics added seem to take the feel out of riding. From ABS, traction control, launch control and various rider settings. I didn't feel any connection between myself, the throttle and the rear wheel. The computer inside the bike decided what to do and when.

I'm mostly with you on that.
Although I'm quite tech competent, I've no interest in the amount that's on bikes and cars, these days.
ABS I do want, anyone riding on the road who thinks they can outperform a modern system in an emergency is deluding themselves.
Traction control is a bit meh to me, yes it's useful but I'm happy without it.
Quickshifters, automatic clutches and gears, 8 squillion rider modes, phone integration, sat navs, auto headlights, suspension etc no thanks, it not what I want out of a bike.

I have both old and modern , have more enjoyment riding older machines , the only computer is is my head , in life you learn with gaining experience , and riding a motorcycle is a learning curve , the more that you ride the more experience you gain ,if your motorcycle computer steps in every time you make a mistake , lesson is not learned you are riding to the limit of the motorcycle computer , so it could be said that you are as only as good as the computer that controls your bike , it may make for a safer ride , when I ride my t595 that does not have any so called safety devices the ride is all down to my ability as the rider not someone in government that wants to control and track your every move . long may I ride and stay free to do so
