I don’t usually recommend places to stay but I’ve just spent the night in North Wales. If you don’t fancy camping and want somewhere cheaper than a Hotel. I recommend Basecamp Wales. It’s a hostel but you get your own private room. It’s situated between Carnaefon and Porthmadog. Bookable direct or through Booking.com
