I will try and find the BM Flag and pole. For those that are new to this event the route from Llandovery is as follows. If approaching eastward on A40, from Carmarthen/Llandeilo: When in Llandovery you will pass the railway station and crossing. In 70 yards turn right on a sharp left bend. Go past the church on the right after 300 yards turn right into Heol Plughafen. Follow the road and bear left at the T junction. If approaching westward on A40, from Brecon/Sennybridge: Go through Llandovery town centre. Pass The Castle Hotel and turn left at the sharp right hand bend. Go past the church on the right after about 300 yards turn right into Heol Plughafen. Follow the road and bear leftat the T junction. New tyre fitted. Trial packing underway - new bike, new luggage, gotta devise a whole new packing system after knowing exactly what went where for the last 8 years. No room for cake though, but you're all fat enough anyway (I know I am). A few days at Fink's Health and Sobriety camp will do us all good. Cold showers, an early morning run, porridge for breakfast, salads for dinner, songs and lemonade round the campfire in the evening and then early to bed for a good night's sleep 😇
