An army veteran has been left devastated after young thugs shoved him off his motorbike before stealing it.

David Killin was travelling home on his scooter when he noticed three teenagers following him on a motorbike.

When the 65 year old approached the Davyhulme Circle roundabout the other bike swerved in front of him at around 9.45 pm last Wednesday.

The bike pulled up at the side of him then overtook him before starting to slow down on Barton Road. One of the group then got off the bike in front and turned the ignition key forcing him to stop. He was then dragged off and shoved to the floor. Two teenagers then jumped on the bike and they all fled towards Urmston.

Police have launched an invetigation and appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information are asked to call GMP on 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
