Hi guys
I'm applying some big updates to the servers today which means the site will be dropping offline for some extended time. Maybe 30 minutes or more in total, I've no idea to be honest and it's not something I can simulate beforehand.

Will let you know when I'm finished

Thanks!
Matt

PS: the big red warning at the top of every page can be closed by pressing the X.
I will disable that warning when the maintenance is complete.
For as long as you see that red message I advise you to copy messages before hitting the "send" button (forum posts, messages etc) so you don't lose them.
I also advise not to upload photos or make any serious changes to your account which you spend any significant time on

Ok so didn't all go to plan. Actually not at all.
Server updates failed and corrupted the whole bloody thing.
Tried to restore backups but that also failed - just refused to boot.

Now online using an old way, but I need to try again at some point as the update is important for security reasons.

:-(

Managed to get the servers updated now but there's definitely something wrong.
I have to hack a bit to get the server to boot, which I didn't need to before the update.
For now it's fine as long as it doesn't reboot.
Going to check online for any bugs
