A very sad loss...the only man to win world titles at the top level,on both 2 AND 4 wheels....this in days long before the technological benefits we have now.R.I.P. John Surtees,a true great..
Never had the pleasure to see him in his racing days but have admired him for his achievements, including his 'Surtees race car'! He was also a lovely gentleman R I P
I was at the KSS Air Ambulance / SERV KENT event in 2014 when they started to carry blood. John was instrumental in this in many ways. A great racer and gentleman. RIP
