For those who don't know

KISS V
is being held over the weekend of
11/12/13 September
At
Squires Cafe Bar,

Sherburn-in-Elmet,
West Yorkshire,
United Kingdom,
LS25 5LX

and for the last three years we've had a run going up to it.

My idea is to meet up at
10am for a 10:30 leave from
South Mimms Services
on the
M25 at J23 and from A1(M), A1, A1081.
Hertfordshire.
EN6 3QQ.

It will take about 3 hours to cover the 170 miles from South Mimms to Squires going up the A1 and A1M with two short breaks.
(Some Folks would had already covered 100 miles just to get to South Mimms, so they will be happy for a couple of little rests and we can't have Dave VM to tired to get his wallet out)
If we go for these times hopefully we can be on site just after 2pm with tents up and in the bar by 2-30. (Execpt David N and XJ who likes to go tree felling on the runs up there)

I think you're right David BJ is trying to cheat me into dancing or singing.

Never know Rags I might just make the effort and turn out for this one!
Won't be going anywhere near S.Mimms though as it's a dogleg for me. Through the tunnel M25, M11, A14, A1(M).
So if you lot have plans to stop for a break anywhere further north
let me know and I'll see what I can do to get there first and buy the teas!

So many things to remember when you get old!
Denture fixative......Immodium.....ID bracelet......colostomy bags!

Of course XJ and Dave VM need none of these things!

Give me some approximate times, Chris and I'll see what I can do...

Ok here's the plan, we meet up at
South Mimms Services
on the
M25 at J23 and from A1(M), A1, A1081.
Hertfordshire.
EN6 3QQ.
At 10am for a 10-30 leave

We then ride up the A1 and A1M to Peterbouough Services at PE7 3UQ.
This should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes to cover the 65 miles.
At 12-15 we leave Peterbouough to ride to the next place which is The BP garage, Great North Road, Newark NG23 6JE,
Taking about 50 minutes to cover the 52 miles and at 1-30 we leave Newark for the final stage taking just under the hour to ride the last 54 miles to Squires
So put your names down below so we know who we are waiting for and where.

Ragnar
