SlowGoose @ 08/03/2015 23:09

Me...depending on dates..
Triple955 @ 08/03/2015 23:53

Sounds good to me.
XKLYBR @ 09/03/2015 12:13

Depends on dates :)
Brummie Jackie @ 09/03/2015 14:17

Sounds good can it be on a week end?
bugsbunny @ 09/03/2015 19:59

Depends on dates but sounds good SG

I'll with hold the nail varnish and spray tan this year if you like lol
GUINNESS RIDER @ 10/03/2015 07:43

Day trip then?
Stuie. @ 10/03/2015 17:52

This is doable in a day, if u r within striking distance to start off with.
However, an overnighter at a campsite / bnb is better.

XKLYBR @ 10/03/2015 19:07

@Guiness Rider- I am immune to fake tan, unlike Bill lol.
Was thinking meet on a Friday eve at a campsite near a pub that does food. Set off Sat morn to do a pass, find brekkie then do a pass or 2 till lunch then do 2/3 more and back to site for evening jollities. Then on Sunday you can take your hangover back home!!
SlowGoose @ 10/03/2015 20:28

That sounds good if I can do the date picked I will dash up the M6 after work Friday.
bugsbunny @ 10/03/2015 20:46

I'm thinking that a Friday meet would be better so no-one has to ride the passes with a fully laden bike. These are difficult roads, very steep and winding.
SlowGoose @ 10/03/2015 20:56

Last time we did this,a couple of years ago,we camped in Langdale, albeit we managed to get split up and ended up on two different sites...It was a lateish start on the Saturday but we did do another pass..possibly Honister? as we made it to Keswick in the afternoon..
Triple955 @ 10/03/2015 22:13

Baysbrown Farm campsite at Chapel Stile. LA22 9JR.

Wainwrights Inn 10 mins stagger.
XKLYBR @ 10/03/2015 23:00

Cheers XK, will have a look.
SlowGoose @ 10/03/2015 23:21

GUINNESS RIDER @ 12/03/2015 19:31

Is everyone welcome to join up on this weekend? New member here from Hudds!

I could be up for this depending on the dates! Like the idea of the converted stables with bunks, but camping is no problem either!
Ian141 @ 16/03/2015 09:06

So let's talk about some dates then.
The last one was ace, it was organised by Too and was my first BM camping trip.
I think XK has already posted a link to the site we used. Well one the sites anyway :-)
Steve_H @ 16/03/2015 19:43

@SG, check this out;

Just a suggestion ; )
Lindsay @ 16/03/2015 20:21

Will be interested in this depending on dates. barn sounds good at that price.
Vladamir @ 16/03/2015 22:42
