VFR 800 VTEC 2005 timing chain tensioner


has anyone attempted to replace these.


if so anything to lookout for while doing it.


Also would it be better to fit manual adjusters instead of original ones


any sound advice would nice

Best thing to look out for when doing this type of job on the Honda VRF 800 vtec is a Honda tecnition sorry wills started it. But I would recomend being sure you need to do the job 1st. My son just took his bike in for cam chains he got a bill for £38.00 for 30 mins labour chains in good condition work not required that was from a main dealer

Seriously, as Deb says , you can join the Honda Owners Club forum without being a full member of the club, and that might be a way forward. I'll have a quick look later.
