As I don't have a TV I'm mercifully spared the embarrassment But as an "ex" athletics coach I wish all the track and field athletes all the best They are the true Olympians The Decathlete's and Heptathlete's being the "pinnacle" of achievement All the other events are a bit of a sham in my opinion

The opening ceremony was absolutely amazing, but the firework display at the end even better....when the petals were lit and they raised up to form the Olympic bowl ...WOW !!! x
