Hi, i was looking to get one of those myself. my mechanic is kawasaki trained and while in his garage chatting over a cuppa i noticed he had one in for a service. i spoke to him about them, his comments very fast, very nice but for running and reliability told me to keep my blackbird. On the other hand i have a friend with one and he loves it, had no issues with it but then has new one every year. look good in black.

thanks sweeny todd, just wondering if the grin factor will outweigh the reliability issue.

i had a 2007 model when they first came out i couldnt get on with it at all.riding position for me too uncomfortable as pure sports(love my zzr11)think my problem was i am only 5"5 tall and its longer and higher than the 11.im sure for taller better equipped peeps would be great lol

to be fair mate if you have the confidence to ride it you can ride anything.my zzr11 i can only just touch floor but dont give a toss cos i love it and the power is just amazing for a bike thats nearly 20 yr ols she still pulls 175mph and 70 in first gear just wicked lol

I had one of these in 2009 d8 model new shape. awsome piece of kit they have changed the clock set up on the 2011 bikes but still the same beast. im 5foot 8 and short legged so struggled a little with the size in traffic but man when you crack that throttle hold on. had mine up to 180mph genuine and it was solid on the road. they do eat rear tyres i went through the original rear tyre in 2500 miles so if ya ride like a looney expect the bills.took mine to the tt and it performed well round the course it supprised me with the weight how well they handle. my advise get one i only got rid of mine for financial reasons back then otherwise i would still have it.
