Hey all. I'm investigating a problem we have with the database server. We might simply be overloading the server, but I need to investigate fully with the webhost. Please can I ask all members to reply here if they receive the following error message (only this error though)... Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'Transaction (Process ID 123) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction./sites/bm/***A URL HERE***.asp, line 1234 Please include the full error, including the exact time it happened. The bits above in RED are the minimum details that I need. It often happens in the forum and chatroom, but I need to know what lines of code are locking the database. Please respond asap as we are investigating now. Thanks everyone

might have fixed now the following... searches, forums, chatroom, communicator page (inbox), popular member pages. Let me know how you're all getting on. Have you had a night free of errors or have you had a few?

graham - only worried about the deadlock SQL error here. The webhosts in the US are looking at this topic in the forum. With your error there - I'd need to go through each step you did. I'll try and replicate it tonight. Though it sounds like its trying to access the file you deleted.
