Matt and staff, to just let you know that everytime I have been trying to get into BM, it has been booting me out and even shut my computer down the other day....chat room keeps booting everyone out and coming up saying page cannot be displayed where we normally enter chat in chat windowl... It took me over an hour to retrieve pms and then trying to delete them was a nightmare...to top it all we have had major problems with the sent pms, that section keeps on coming up server error...timeout... Does this help?

If anyone is having problems with profile pics not opening up and they are using Internet Explorer 6 software then upgrade to version 7 and problem solved. Well it was for me. Site was frozen, for me, last nite but working quite fast at mo'. I had a couple of SQL error messages too but I've reported all probs to Matt.

On posting that last post I got an HTPP 500 error message even tho it had accepted my post It said most likely causes are 'the website has a programme error' 'the website is under maintainence'.

see your emails. SQL timeout errors were caused by either an attack on our database server, or a fault with it. Either way, the webhosts have fixed it before ive even had chance to notice it. Profile pictures are a problem for IE6 users at the moment, ill be fixing it somehow this week hopefully. Computer being shutdown etc is a fault with your PC, the site has no ability to control your PC like that. I suspect a faulty hard drive or network card. See your email ive sent you for more info. PS: Site is running really fast right now, even with 1,000 people online

B C a computer shutting down could also be a third party intrusion couldn't it? May be an idea to get virus /computer security checked out or upgraded. Matt, site loading fast at mo but I just had another error message while opening my mail.

Thanks Kwak and Matt for your advice, much appreciated, just checked my virus protection and it is bang up to date and the logs do report an attempted intrusion so obviously it is doing its job in one way, will look at the whole thing in more detail... Thanks again Rose

im changing some of the code tomorrow to speed a few things up, it's all database related so i can't explain it really. But the ultimate solution is that more people subscribe so we can afford new servers.

I've done my bit to try to get folk to join us, and if ya send me (to my address) some more cards I'll distribute them as well. I noticed the ones I left in one of the cafes at Matlock needed refilling.

okays ill get some ordered. Its cheaper to order in bulk tho and get someone to distribute them in the UK to other members who want some. How many do you want?

I dunno, not sure how many Mazza sent me last time, I think there were 5 boxes, but not sure how many cards a box holds. I can't afford to post any on tho so no point sending me zillions.
