Sitting in the garden this morning with a cuppa, waiting for a lad to arrive, to have a new tyre fitted
I heard the unmistakable sound of an approaching steam traction engine
It hove into view and I waved as they went past and was cursing myself, for not having my camera to hand
Then I heard it slow down so went to the gate to look as to why, expecting some farm traffic to be taking more road than it deserves
Then I saw it pulled over onto the other side of the road and parked up
I dived indoors and grabbed my camera and when I got to it, I saw they were taking on water from a hydrant at the farm gates
So after a chat with the two guys, who were en-route to Driffield from the Pickering Traction weekend
