Done a fair bit with the military, used to ride Armstrong 500/Harley Davidson 350's to control convoys and a bit of enduro in my early days. Heavy big clunky things but where fun.
Would you use an off road bike on the road e.g Husqvarna or should they stay on the dirt?
I have used off road bikes on the Greek islands, normally 250 Yamaha or similar. Ideal because I like to go off road as well to explore donkey and goat tracks. You see another side of things that way. Plus I have found some nice deserted tourist free beaches. I had to be carefull with the knobbly tyres on the tarmac roads especially where there was loose gravel off line.
I do like Husqvarna's also some of the old brits, like Greeves and Cotton.
If you had a second bike, what sort of bike would it be?
had my first bike at 13 off road honda 200 red one lol can rmder wat it was then at 17 past test and had a gt 250 rs omg 30 years on the road (with gapes in between having kids and stuff )
Honda CB102 50cc stepthrough. I used to ride to London and back everyday in all wheathers. 60 mile round trip at top speed 40 mph. At 17 it was better than nothing. I then got a Royal Enfield continental GT 250 (British). If I new who had that bike I would buy it back, as I loved it

the one bout best quality inherited from parents.... but i guess thats in my opinion ... others may not think its a quality ...
what is your fave fair ride?
well i think its cruel to have lions or elephants etc in circus' so i would either be a clown or a horse back rider... or trapeze!!! if i could get teh courage to do the trapeze bit it must be an amazing feeling getting it right..... not so good if goes wrong ..
did you ever want to run away and live with the travelling circus/fair??
