Not being well enough to ride the Toy Run today to the Acorns Hospice.
Also not being well enough to look after my grandaughter as promised tonight, I really get upset if I have to let people down.
That's a shame CG - anyone could see how much that Toy Run meant to you...
I guess I could tell you this til I'm blue in the face, but try not to get upset - health comes first and if you're just not up to it, your family will understand - they won't feel let down! I know where you're coming from but it's only "us" who feel we're letting everyone else down... they don't feel the same at all!
Not sad or unhappy... just headachey... the realisation that I've not done a cv for myself for the last 18 years... never had to... always just been invited to join folk, or I've created a full time position for myself after starting on a part time basis! D'oh!
Flip... I've not had a "proper" interview for a job since 1990...

Oooh that sounds painful Arf. I suppose there are worse things to break - see my posts about my mate who's smashed his hip and pelvis - but when a guy's in that state DO NOT AMUSE HIM. DO NOT MAKE HIM LAUGH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Been there, done that, and my bar steward friends took great pleasure in the lewdest of jokes and watching my agony as I tried not to laugh. Didn't get any girlie kisses either. *sigh*
