No riding today. Had to work. Came home and cleaned it ready for Monday. Work again tomorrow unfortunately :'-) , but after work ride to Linda's ready for Hastings mayday run :-)
First time out on bike since work accident, leg and shoulder were fine, ache a bit now , got some funny looks with the crutch's bungee'd to the back and not very dignified mounting and dis-mounting but that was a well needed 165 miles
Good to hear your back on the bike ......can I bling up the crutch????? Got glue gun and pink sparkles spare as I wasn't allowed to decorate Lyndsey on her birthday.
About 120 miles - and amazingly all of it dry! Danny's changed oil and air filters on my bike and we decided that was enough for now, we wanted out to play instead of tinkering. Headed to Anstruther but stopped to ogle bikes in Kirkcaldy and came back from there instead of going on.
Went on the Hastings May day run. What a brilliant day. Warm and sunny, wall to wall bikes of all types and thousands of bikes on the road. And to be in lots of good company was fantastic :-)
Been over to Keighley to book my top box in under warrenty, replacement in. Given Queenie a wash and shampoo ready for tomorrow's trip around North Yorkshire. She is gleaming .
rode her .. this morning when cool .. ands no Saturday in there own world Muppets about .. come back jet wash did the front/rear brakes .. service ..
time's ahead in a few weeks .. just ordered some paint ... from a change blue/white too pearl black ... did the oil etc last week oh plus got a zumo 350 fitted .. with 1.20 chrome crap door knob for the ram mount on the bar clap across.. does the job ... sorry with beer at the moment .. to any sense
Nothing once again. I had to work all weekend. This weekend was the 4th in series of 6. I getting pissed off now missing all this glorious riding weather :-(
