Well a friend's bike really, borrowed it and scooted off down the coast for gorgeous run out with a nice man freezing cold, choppy seas with wind beside us but excellent run to Bushmills Brewery at top of the country and back ....
Passed my mod 1 this aft - so unbelievably chuffed - first attempt, too. Though it's only on my wee bike, I couldn't be more pleased!! Prep starts in earnest now for mod 2 - and maybe down the line I'll have gained the confidence to have a bash on the 600. For now, though, I'm happy, happy, happy
well done fi thats brilliant i went to scarborough tonight with russ and my mate janice first time out on her hornet for over a year since the accident and she was brilliant and we had a really good ride

Thanks, David - actually I think it may have been you who gave some very useful advice on here somewhere about how to achieve sufficient speed and tackle the emergency stop by going flat out in 2nd on the 125? Well, that's what I did and it worked. If it wasn't you ... certainly my thanks to whoever it was that did!!
