Started loading the panniers & adjusting the suspension ready for the big ride tomorrow. Tank full. Bike`s lovely & clean but doubt if it`ll stay like that-supposed to rain somewhere up north. Hope Scotland`s prepared for me
230 mile round trip to spend the day with my brother-in-law who's just come out of hospital after a heart attack.
Part of the trip on that 4/5-lanes wide section of A1(M) near Peterborogh, and they STILL hog the outside lane!
He's doing well, we managed to walk to the pub for lunch (just a single shandy each) then a bit later took his dog for a walk too. He's biggest problem is he's been banned from eating bacon butties, fried breakfasts, ketchup; and anything else with high salt content.
I got my bike back from the shop after a major service. I also had them remove the alarm system, as it was crap . Now to consider a better one or if I even bother in future. They also connected my power supply for accessories.

New chain and sprocket kit fitted today, ouch, empty wallet but for the sake of an extra 30 notes may as well just ride in have it done and ride out, besides can I foobar remember where I put my chain riveter or more importantly who I borrowed it to
I went to an unused car park and used socks as markers to practise my slow riding for my test and then rode to squires to meet up with Richard T and his Mrs. Yesterday my bike wouldn't start so havfun came over and got it going thankfully! Thanks Norman ??
Joined in yesterday on Madscots Scottish ride out run.@20 bikes and a superb day out despite some miserable weather earlier on but last 2 hours in full sunshine. Covered @220 miles over some great roads and fantastic scenery. Met some new folk and genuinely had a good time. Will download pictures (yes David Bailey there again) when can Thanks everyone for a great day
A little under 500 miles over the weekend. A good ride down to Dent, around and about Yorkshire, back up north and then an evening bimble with Danny around the Campsies - as the sun was actually shining - to round off a great weekend. Well pleased.
