eyup Andy - yeah, it were a cracking day, the beast is as sweet as a nut & the new brakes are awesome (apparently). Spesh is well confident for Snetterton now
His laps were consistantly within 1-2 secs of each other & he had a 'moment' that he was able to ride out of. We also met Richard Cooper(cooperman), Sam Lowes, Barry Burrell, Kyle Ryde & one of the MCN Journo's (Adam Child?)
Richard & Sam are 2 of the nicest guys - we had a really good chat with em both, it was well cool & I (of course) got more stalking pics for me album
I must admit, I'm still a bit hyper after Weds aswell & we're both very much looking forward to the first race
Im still grinning like a goober from my cold but fab trek to chorley....i'm completely smitten with my bike and mastered 'parking' as opposed to 'abandoned on pavement' slowly getting used to having no screen and the windblast which made my tidgy arse clench at 80 and kinda getting used to the new muscles even if they are rather achey!! Definitely need warmer gloves tho and to put the duct tape strip back on my lid as it blows open at 70 when doing my shoulder checks...
Funniest bit was being offered help from one of the taxi drivers before i'd even got on it to move it and his face was a picture when i pushed it into a more productive take off position.... Sure he thought i was going to drop it but after the cbr 400 my er5 is a twiglet to move!
Cant wait to see everyone who's going to squires tomorrow night-if i hug ya too much its only coz i've missed ya :-)
Finnaly getting a nice day and some time to do a much needed oil change, brake change, and some clean up work the poor beast was looking a bit run down after this years winter. just hope I can get my new chain and sprokets on tommoz
