Taking my 2 dogs along to a group session for people with mental amd physical disabilities run by a friend of mine and doing an impromptu Pets As Therapy session. They were such an obvious hit for so many people who clearly love animals but can't keep pets of their own that it made my day too.

Loads made me smile today....

Quinnie making a mess of cannulating me after she bollocked me for waiting so long before i got there

The hca doing the 'best out of 3' approach to taking my obs

Oh yes-tramadol kicking in along with iv fluids and iv paracetamol

My gorgeous graham made me smile when he picked me up from a&e...that hug fixed me i'm sure

Oh and best of it is having a weekend to recouperate and hope to god the left one doesnt decide to explode lol

Note to self nurses can get ill and just because u know its a 'non surgical acute abdo' doesnt mean u cant call a bloody ambulance rather than feeling like ur going to die LOL yup i'm a muppet xxx
