Went for an MOT and didn't get one. Their computer was down pmsl

So I treated myself to some new boots. Conti road attack 2 GT.
Maybe now I will not keep losing the back end on round abouts

I rode my bike to the motorbike garage and asked them to investigate why my bike keeps stalling when it's hot! He took it for a ride after adjusting the clutch cable and said that the front brake caliper needed checking as he thinks it's bent?? It's very windy out there too!

Just a bit of tinkering today.
Got HID headlight kits fitted, one wasn't dipping and the other was only working intermittently. Had all the connectors apart, cleaned them up, smeared with vaseline and reassembled. Both now work except right one still not dipping correctly, new relay needed I think?
Also replaced the wiring plug/socket connector for my heated suit. The original co-axial connector appears to have melted slightly and broke last time I unplugged. Replaced with a waterproof 2-pin connector, £2.65 off eBay.

Sounds like real-world engineering. Next thing will be lashing it up with duck tape!

If they're happy cruiser riders then who are we to end their dreams?

I've even ridden one myself. Once. And a long time ago. And there were no witnesses. Or if there were, they've all been silenced

Experienced the sh*ttiest riding conditions in a long time. Ingleton to Hawes was abysmal for me personally. It was very misty and very drizzly and I could see cock all through the drizzle. Lifted my visor up as my glasses had steamed up and it was just as bad, drizzle impeding my vision. To cap it all I got a wet crotch too. On the bright side I made it home safe. (Where the sun was out and the sky blue, typical!)
