Helene's Birthday today.. celebrating her memory with a trip to Bamburgh Castle where me n Minx n Paul will smile and act daft and have fun then we're going to send up Sky Lanterns just as the sun sets... Sad smiles but appreciating the hugs and lush that are in abundance in my life since I joined BM... Soooooo.. be lush today for me too and notice the beauty that can still be found in life.. no matter what else goes on...

A lovely weekend seeing my friend in Wales.

Getting 3 new (to me) chickens today - 3 poor ex battery hens that were rescued. Seeing them scratching around for the mealworms I put in the run for them. Hopefully they will soon be fit and healthy and feathered up again and will have a few more years in a happier environment
