Got the R1 MOT'd today, no advisories and treated it to a new pilot power rear shoe (££Ouch£££), now mother nature behave yourself , I need to go scrub it in

I have not ridden my bike since the end of November. I don't know why because normally I ride all year. So I pushed it out of the garage today, carried out a few checks and it started on the button

I will now be out and about this weekend, I have missed it

Hahahaha JP... that really is bad luck.. glad you were able to get it repaired cheaply.... been out today Chesterfield, Matlock, Bakewell to Cat 'n Fiddle and back.... very nice indeed

I just bin to the Manor Café (nr Leyburn, N Yorks).

It was heaving! The queue was out the door, so didn't get a cuppa.

Didn't see any rider under 30yrs...

I am really chuffed with myself, I rode to ripon yesterday for the first time ever, then rode home today on the a61 and a59 and some of those twists and gradients almost made me poop my pants but I did them and I got up to 70 mph on some of the straights! Lol

nice one Tab well done ; but why did you go on the A59 the route from Ripon to Shipley should have been :- out of ripon pickup A61 - the greyhound inn at Killinghall turn right into B6161 about 2 miles after Leathley turn right into Farnley Park which leads to the B6451 then at otley you take the A659 out of Otley which leads into the A6038 and again leads into A65 which leads to A6038 at the roundabout all signed from Otley New THAT Would Have popped You Pants
