Going to bury an old friend. We went back to the 70s, and the interests we shared covered not just bikes - he had an old Bonnie back in the day - but stargazing, real ale, curry houses, mountaineering and general mischief. Just eight weeks ago his wife called me to say that he'd got lung cancer, but that with radiotherapy he should have some decent life ahead even if he wasn't going to live to a ripe old age.. Alas, it was not to be. RIP Rob.
Coming to the realisation that someone I listened to and supported emotionally for months cannot return the favour to me when I need it. Learned a lesson now, so life goes on....

@Lindaloki, such a horrid situation to be in, i think you may be surprised by how strong and resourceful young people can be. A strong shoulder to lean on is always helpful at these times and im sure you both have more than one available. Have faith x
