Thanks, but 'tis my loss too if I can't get money owed returned to me, but then again, not doing it on 'friendly' terms lets me get tough - can threaten to send mad burdz after him! It's not the first time I've regretted the loss of friendship more than anything else, soft touch that I am - or was!
Not absolutely hunky dorey, wake up to find someone changed the door of my tent atound, had to tear the window out to escape. ThenI discover spectacle thieves had been in during the night and hid my glasses. Fax farted in KCs pants and to top it all off, it turns out the beer is defective. I didnt expect to buy a fuzzy head in tins.
Got woken up Friday morning at stupid o'clock by Security who were having issues with the fire alarm not wanting to reset at work.
Got woken up at stupid o'clock this morning by Security who were having issues with the fire alarm not wanting to reset, so got up got dressed went to work, several hours later went home from work.

Having made a decision last night that I would clean the house today, I've got up and it's beautiful sunny skies, however I have to stick to my decision... I think! Lol
Having to work on my day off & the sun is shining. Also can't get to a bike meet tomorrow night because of other commitments & it looks like tomorrow night will be the best night for the bike meet so far this year. Totally depressed. :(
Am ignoring FB for the rest of toady and maybe the whole weekend! Fed up with 'No' campaigners hacked off at losing the referendum and asking "how the f**k could we let this happen?".
Well sorry, but 80+% of the electorate determined the outcome and that's got to be what the majority of "we" wanted. Not ecstatic, just glad that it's over. Move on.
I thought the No (to independence) vote carried the day. From what I saw on TV the leaders of the Yes campaign while not happy accepted the result with dignity and called on everyone to move on. Besides, the Westminster mob, in a panic have made more devolutionary concessions so the no one has anything to complain about.
What made me unhappy didn't happen today, it was last week. Found out I need time off work for major operation. Told work and the woman I work with was more bothered about how she would manage on her own. I don't expect pity or sympathy but a little compassion would have been appreciated
Sadly, a significant minority take this “What about Me?” point of view. It’s generally those who aren’t very good at their job and rely on others to fulfil their duties.
Having said that, I experienced the complete opposite at work; I was mildly rebuked in 2007 for not telling my employers that my wife didn’t have long to go.
One consolation, Naomi; while you’re off work, you’ll have time to look for more congenial employers while you're recovering. And recover you undoubtedly will. Whether you like it or not.
Meant to put a shepherd's pie in the microwave and take the dog out for a walk. Unfortunately, I got things the wrong way around.
Talk about disaster. That pie is still frozen solid from the freezer.
