seeing the stay cat I feed looking even more haggered with sadness in his eyes I wish I could tame him a little more so I could get him to vets , poor thing he just needs some love and a vet visit
Every thread is full of shit folk are more interested in Karma than events so they can have there karma. Im done with the events dont see the point in wasting my time money and effort checking out sites bands and all the rest that goes with it when all folk want is there 100% Karma next victim to rip off or just cause trouble on the site
well I hope if that's aimed at me you make sure you say it to me as im fed up of sly digs from people already about such things I have over 200 messages from people on here today alone and that's because I chat to people not because I care much about the karma thing its silly if you ask me and you kind of shoot up from nowhere just cos you say something or take part in silly games and stuff so if its such a big issue why don't someone ask matt to remove that part of the site cos I don't see it as a competition and what does it matter who is or who isn't so popular not everybody likes the same people im happy just to chat away and be meeting all the new people im meeting and lots of them through this site in person as it goes had a great weekend with a nice person from bm site and introducing someone to squires tomorrow through bm so im a happy bunny and not out for popularity votes take the silly karma thing away for what it matters to me but of course if it upsets some people then it must be an important issue for them which is their problem and not one to be bothering myself with ive better things to do with my life and time as you said yourself you have too
who rips victims off ???? do you mean literally rip people off ?? cos I certainly wouldn't dream of that id rather give than take and I thank god every day that im here and wouldn't hurt a fly. must say the chat room seems a bit strange lately though. I certainly haven't caused any trouble on site or at events or anywhere else for that matter as im very far from being that kind of person and I do say things as I see it which might sometimes offend people but we are all human and some of us have respect for others and are honest people I wouldn't want to hang around with non decent people as it goes to be honest
I understand were JP is coming from to a certain extent, we spend a lot of time and effort organising events and such like and threads do seem to have gone off on a tangent of late. We are all guilty of bantering but bear in mind the organiser of the event has to then keep reposting the relevant information for new folk to see whats what ..... hope that makes sense
and finally when going through newbies thread I see a couple of people who have been past members a good few years back and have now come back saying they would like to be more involved but if this is how people get karma by being involved what chance does anyone have and why pay money to join in something others seem to have a problem with. non of it makes any sense to me, I aint here to cause trouble or problems but I simply don't understand why such rubbish is so important to some
I think what JP is saying is that some folk are going out of their way to post nonsense in threads just for the sake of posting to raise their Karma, its like a game to them, nobody is saying that banter should not be allowed, but it can cause issues for organisers, as an example, the Barmouth thread clearly states no booking required, hasn't stopped folk ringing me to ask how they book in advance because they say they cant find the info cos the threads full of banter .............just using that as an example ..............the KISS thread constantly said Ticket Only and NO Tickets Being Sent out - didnt stop folk sending me countless pm's asking when their ticket was posted or can they pay on the gate !!!!
Sometimes essential info goes astray because folk wont go back pages to find it .............. so it can cause problems for the organisers ............ hence JPs gripe ................
right well I do try to go back over pages and look and I do try to keep things updated as in events I can attend, as for the karma thing I think its a silly thing and I (im sure you can see being a mod) have had over 500 messages since Friday and have probably sent as many too so have shot up in karma this don't mean im a somebody special or the most liked it just means to me im doing what I came on the site and paid my money to do which is chat/date /meet fellow bikers like minded people. I have no idea about ripping people off or who that's aimed at but I do know for sure that is not me or aimed at me but I think and feel the karma thing was and is, like I said above b.j people have re joined and stated they would like become more active this time how can anybody be at ease to be more active if people are having digs im wondering like ive just stated to matt did I pay for and join a chat/dating site for bikers or a play group its all getting silly and ive only been here 6 weeks god help when ive been here the 12 months ive signed up for it makes me want to just sit in the corner and say nothing
maybe people should state clearly what they are trying to say b.j. rather than make it like a dig so at least the people that are being judged as out of order know its them and can do something about it maybe even a pm to tell the person if its so wrong or offends would be good rather than dig if you know what I mean im not the sharpest knife in the box but I do speak my mind and I do try to put things across so people understand it. I actually thought it was funny as I though we needed all the mad things for barmouth camp but it seems was just a little banter and daft wind up and I belived we needed such things
Listening to my 10 year old nephew ask every time he is faced with food with "is that bad for me". He is active, never stops moving, a complete bundle of energy, does loads of exercise but his school has said he is overweight!!!!! He is 10 for heavens sake! Way to go with giving him an eating disorder for the sake of a couple of pounds over his height/weight ratio.......it makes me sad cos he shouldn't be worrying about food.
here here on that rowan its ridiculous they say that if you over feed your child its now classed as abuse same as if you starve a child madness kids should be happy playing and growing not getting eating disorders cos some clown say they slightly over weight bless him let him bounce about happy hunny x
Just hope it doesn't stick with and when he sprouts up a bit he will be fine. Just keep telling him that no food is bad for him in moderation. Bloody beuracratic crap
seeing stray cat get worse by the day think I need to call blue cross in to help catch him so he can get looked at and treated, and thanks to all the bm ers at that the pud rally that donated this is now possible as funding isn't always available for such things , cheers to everyone and a huge thanks from pudding the stray cat
