Just had the call from the vet....Tilly, my little dog has just had her surgery and it was nothing more sinister than a hernia....wow i'm so happy. I read the vets notes this morning and it said "abdominal mass" and i got so worried.....i even shed a tear as i handed her over to the nurse

Hospital today for my 8 weekly dose of drugs and YES they got an anaesthetist to canulate me, got it first time with no pain and was a really nice polite doctor to boot. That made me so happy after my last visit two weeks ago !!!!

Being discharged from hospital (yesterday). I met 3 lovely ladies on the ward, we did nothing but chat and laugh. Altho I was in a lot of pain I think I got off lightly considering one of them had a partner die just a few weeks ago and the other one has got gangrene in her toes. Thanks to Lynda, Bev and 'Just a little prick' Mavis (she's 83 and has a brill line in double entendré) for making me laugh and making hospital bearable. Hope you are all feeling better soon. Thanks to all the staff of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

I think it was taken out of active topics cos it came under "drivel" sorry "general" rather than a serious topic. I dont really think it should be in active topics as although it is " a bit of fun" it isn't what i class as an interesting topic. * runs for cover *

Had to smile today when the kitten came in after getting a good drenching while she was out ... all her fur clumped together and spikey at the ends from being wet.
