BJ, as Kaycat has said, for one sad individual who thinks he/she is above anyone else on this site to think he/she has been dealt a bad hand at KISS, I also say bollox to him/her! You, JP and Scorpio54 worked bloody hard to get KISS organised and I for one think you pulled off yet another success. I am only aware of 2 people who were disappointed at not being allowed entry to the rally and a 3rd who chose to leave of their own volition. If people cant abide by the rules and accept the consequences then that is their problem, not yours. Most members know you do an awful lot of work behind the scenes all year round, and how many of them have complained about KISS4? The site will be sadly lacking if you decide to leave and I hope you change your mind, but I for one stand 4 square behind you in anything you organise and anything you do in your role as a moderator. AJ, I think you have buckley's chance of them appologising, if it is who I think it is then they are quite obviously so far up themselves they are delusional.
Thanks for the support guys, it just gets on my wick that we put so much time and effort in to organising stuff for others to enjoy and you end up with a couple of dickwads who think they are above the system and when they find out they are not, you get accused of all sorts
Really does make you wonder why bother ............ I know the majority of folk appreciate what we do, but sometimes just sometimes .........
Well I suspect one of those is someone who isn't particularly active on the site anyway, so don't let them get to you! If they can do any better then let them have a go at organising an event.

Rules are there for a reason Andy you were well aware of this when.you booked your tickets. If you have been upfront on or before your arrival a solution could have been found . Not try and pull a fast one on the event marshals .
Im not getting into what I am suposed to have done, on here, JP. I know what was said and what was'nt and like alot of things people have feelings and express them differently, as for the rules, ambiguous as they sometime are, ticket only event, no ticket no entry, I had tickets, the problem was over something that was not general knowledge to everyone hence the issue, I should of dealt with it differently yes!, pull a fast one NO! I have apologised for comments made and await a decision. If I was aware of the insurance criteria no of this would of happened. This is one little issue at an event that was apparently the best KISS event ever and many congrats to everyone involved in the organisation of it. enough said,...
I would like to put the marshalls side of what transpired if I may. when you turned up at the gate, I was taking names and issuing wristbands, Vladimir was giving out raffle tickets for saturdays hog roast. You made no attempt to inform me or Vlad that your ''guest'' was not who the ticket was intended for. I then went to your guest and asked her name, I had to ask a second time as I couldn't hear properly with her helmet on and she quite clearly told me her name was Morticia. By this time Vlad was handing over her ticket and could possibly have heard her say that. Why would she say that if you had not told her to, you must have realised there would be a problem. If you had intended sorting the problem out, why then did you proceed onto the field and begin pitching your tent before contacting BJ and getting the problem sorted. It does say in the forum thread that tickets are NOT TRANSFERABLE due to insurance purposes, if you want to check that I am not lying then you will find the reference on page 58, dated the 23rd of May. It also states later on in thread that should anyone encounter any problems that they should contact another moderator that isnt attending and they would contact BJ to try to find a solution.
Andy I'm sick of the Bs on here we are very proud that no phones were robbed no wallets were robbed no bikes were taken Why because we did our jobs to the very best of our ability dispite a transit pick up coming on site in the earlier hours of Saturday morning and the driver being confronted by event staff . You tried to bring on a guest without a ticket in her name end of, you think your clever your not , you Tried to con every member of bm by saying your guest was someone else.
