I hit a pigeon (at 80 mph) on the M40 in my car. It punched a hole in the grille and is now wedged tightly against the radiator.
Incredibly it was still alive when i got home, but it aint moving today.

Job related. So many carers nwho are paid, (most often by the Service User) not understanding that whilst on shift and meant to be providing care and support to those less fortunate, they are constantly on line using social networking sites and their mobile phones....struggling with this one but so many spot check visits are proving why it is a huge no no :(
I am so grateful that a member of my family is not being support by these individuals.
BL I can understand where you are coming from on above posting but in a slightly different way. Years ago I had a job which involved working in a place ran by nuns. Never having had any interaction with religious folk like that before I believed they would be lovely. Could not be further from the truth as they were in fact the nastiest people I'd ever met in the caring community.
Cat sorted, £84 worth of sorted, hopefully he'll start to feel better soon. Ever heard of irritable bladder caused by stress Would have preferred not to have missed ride out but couldn't leave him until Monday. Hopefully won't be too long to be get another ride planned soon.
