Heart is breaking, my father died today 30th March as I was rushing up to Wick this afternoon after a call from the family, didn't get a chance to say goodbye..... Best man I have ever known or ever will.
He is a father, grandfather and great grandfather....2nd world war veteran, master rigger, trawler engineer, ships skipper, life boat coxswain and asst harbour master, harbour pilot and been around the world numerous times....
in his early years was a stead fast biker having owned Nortons, BSA's and I heard a rumour of a Vincent ......at one time he braved the snow drifts for twenty miles on the bike in the 50's when no cars could get through to get to the hospital when my oldest sister was born..
He never judged me, always stood by me and always believed in me....... He will be sorely missed and never forgotten...

My condolences to you Johnny.
Evidently a man very much loved and respected, and I'm sure you're a credit to him.
