Finding out I gotta be up in four and a half hours to go to Hastings for a job that was supposedly cancelled. . . Ok it made me smile as well , at least I'm working.
yep the return of the wind n rain has took the smile away from my face, but it luks like it ts gona dry up this aft. so im gona get it out and smile again
Hearing about someone's ill health issues, the pain they are in, the fact that they can't work, because 'I'm in a lot of pain and can't stand up or sit down for long periods of time', but they can go gallivanting around the country on a motorcycle, giving it large on nights out (most weekends) and then go on holiday abroad makes my blood boil.
Especially when the person in question professes to have a 'back problem'... is it glass I ask myself...?
Grrrr! Get a grip, when you gonna admit you are one god damn lazy
watch those claws GBNP, nearly had my eye out good job I had my glasses on. Well. . . . why am I sad today? having got up at 4.30 this morning (yep. it's gonna be long winded) Travelled all the way to Hasting spent 6 hours in the f*@king wind and rain, discovering my waterproofs aren't waterproof, getting home (home being my sisters sofa at the moment)soaking wet and tired, to discover upon retiring to bed (or should I say sofa) my mind won't shut down and let me sleep!!!!!!!!! Life, sometimes, just really sucks, and to top it all it's my daughters birthday today and I still haven't got her a present yet THE END
I woke up this morning and realised that today is the last day of my freebie week
I'm being super careful what I spend cash on as I'm in the middle of a house purchase (why do these things take so LONG??!!!) and am going to be facing some huge bills shortly, between the conveyancing fees, and the amount of work it's going to make to turn a repossessed house into a home...
Sorry to be losing you MrMike, but will stay in touch. I expect we'll be saying ta-ta to a few who've had a free week but hope that many will be back when it suits them. All the best to all of you.
Good luck with all the work fixing up the house MrMike.
I'm waiting at home for a builder to call and fix my roof so it stops leaking. He definitely said 'morning' not 'tomorrow' and there's only half an hour of it left
Sad today as it was 10 years to the day that my gramps passed away, my Dad and I found him, he had died in his sleep at the age of 86. New Years eve is never the same!
Having just worked 7x 10hour shifts all over Xmas and New Year, then getting a bollocking this morning just as we were due to go home..
Yeh.. Happy New Year to you too.. oh mighty boss! I wish I could tell her to stick her job up her but unfortunately it took me long enough to get a job..........but it won't stop me looking about.
Big Hugs to all those that need them
I wish Ziggy (my lil bike) was ont road, I'd take the little by-gum for a blast ont moors
Realisation that come 5 am tomorrow morning that's me up and back to work after a long, sore, but eventful 9 weeks. No doubt after half the day it'll feel like never been away.
Havin a crap xmas due to work then someone I hold very close basiclly kicking me out ther life but cant tell me why ,,,,,,,,,, so its 2 fingers to last year ,,,,,, prob is do I walk away from this one I hold close ,,,,,,,,,im the kind who fights tooth n nail
@Scream7 .. personally I'd walk away and don't look back. I speak from experience of trying to hold a relationship together for years .. if one party aint 100% committed then it aint worth trying to continue.
Move on, don't look back and mark it up to experience.
